What keeps a 200-year-old craft community together, even when their neighbourhood is falling apart?
Khazaane Waalo Ka Rasta is a narrow, bustling lane in Jaipur’s walled city. For generations, families here have carved marble idols in their homes - entire households turning raw stone into gods, souvenirs, and heritage pieces that travel across the world. Over time, the craft, the homes, and the street have become inseparable. My role in this project was to understand how people live, work, and share space here - and imagine ways the neighbourhood could grow without losing its soul.
