Annual Report | Literacy India

This project was a 99-page annual report for an NGO that delivers value education to underprivileged communities across India. I led the full visual direction - layout design, digital hand-drawn illustrations, infographics, cover design, content editing, and the overall narrative flow.

challenge.

The real challenge came from the process: multiple stakeholders, including government teams, meant content arrived late, changed frequently, and came in as dense text and monotonous charts.

result.

To bring clarity and energy into the document, I first mapped a detailed flat plan and then built the report section by section - reworking heavy information into cleaner, more intuitive infographics, introducing visual rhythm to break the monotony, and staying aligned with the NGO’s brand colours throughout.

The goal was simple: make a long, information-heavy report feel approachable, professional, and easy to read. And that’s what guided every design decision.
